Application Procedures For September Entry 2012
The guidance on this page should help ensure that your application is dealt with as efficiently as possible.
Autumn Term
Find out as much as you can about our Sixth Form and the courses we offer:
· Talk to subject teachers;
· Attend our Open Evening in on 23rd November 2011 ;
· Talk to students taking the courses you are interested in
· Sign up to our electronic newsletter to keep up to date with the latest information
If you are new to St.Mary's and unable to make the Open Evening, you may wish to contact the Director of Sixth Form Studies to arrange a visit.
Spring Term
Return your completed application form by Friday 27th January 2012. Returning your form as early as possible gives you the greatest possible chance of getting your first choice subjects, particularly if you intend to take an unusual combination. Please note that applications received after the deadline may still be considered
We will consider your choice of subjects and may arrange an informal interview with one of the admissions team.
We will write to confirm your offer of a place, subject to you obtaining the appropriate entry requirements.
Summer Term
You will inevitably be busy with examinations and will want to concentrate on achieving your best possible performance. We may contact you to confirm enrolment or induction details but will otherwise allow you the time and space you need to focus on your GCSEs.
