By Schools for Schools (formerly, the Greater Manchester Challenge)

St Mary's is a designate teaching school working in partnership with several institutions from across the region in the delivery of the Improving Teacher Programme and Outstanding Teacher Programme. We have 3 trained facilitators of the programmes and to date we have delivered 6 ITP and 3 OTP courses to external participants.

These prestigious courses are developed by OLEVI (the centre for excellence in teaching and learning) over a period of six to ten weeks; delegates join us at St Mary's to develop further thinking around teaching and learning initiatives to improve classroom performance.
