Geogang
This Geography Club is open to any students in Year 7,8 or 9. It takes place at lunchtime in C9 each Wednesday.
Some of the activities that are planned are listed below:
1- A “shaker-maker or Volcano : Design and build an earthquake proof building or a volcano and watch it erupt.
2- Hats of the World: Investigate and make as many “hats of the world” as you can.
3-Flags: Make a string of world flags that will be placed in the Language Block in St Mary's
4-Giant globes: Create massive globes that will be covered with flags and images of famous places.
The gang recently investigated the use of masks throughout the world and then went on to make their own examples. Follow the links on the left to find out more.
