Kingsbridge for the GTP*

Kingsbridge provide the GTP* course for the Wigan area. This is a different approach to initial teacher training. Instead of being university based, the course focuses on in school experience. A successful applicant will be places at a school within the Wigan LA for one year. In January, they will take part in a six week placement before returning to their host school. The participants are also supported by Kingsbridge via weekly meetings and St Mary's provide participants with a subject mentor who guides and supports throughout the year.
