All pupils who study Spanish at KS4 have the opportunity to attend a week long visit to Barcelona each October.
All pupils who study French at KS4 have the opportunity to attend a week long visit to Paris each April.
For both Spanish and French we are currently working towards the Edexcel GCSE award.
MFL at Key Stage 5
Both Spanish and French are popular choices in the Sixth Form with a class of each language in Year 12 and Year 13.
Students who study MFL in the sixth form also benefit from one-to-one weekly tutorial sessions (in addition to their timetabled curriculum hours) with native Spanish and French speaking language assistants.
Pupils studying MFL at Key Stage 5 have the opportunity to attend annual trips to Madrid, Granada and Paris.
Many of our post-16 linguists continue with their language study as part of their chosen pathway at university.
