Enrichment Societies
The enrichment societies became part of our sixth form at St Mary's this year. The societies provide our students with extra curricular opportunities to enhance CV and UCAS application forms. Societies range from the creative writing group to the ECO group. Each one with its own distinct vision for developing the interests and aspirations of our sixth form students.
Photographs taken at the first Societies Fair may be viewed in the Gallery section of the website.

What Has SAMS Done So Far?
SAMS has so far been a resounding success, it has 29 members from sixth form and has also welcomed 23 year eleven students to its events.
On 9th November SAMS welcomed
Fastbleep into St Marys, SAMS coordinated the day and ensured the smooth running, Fastbleep is an external organisation aimed at widening participation in medicine, all the feedback received was positive (the photos will soon be on the St Marys website).
On the 25th of November a former student came into school to tell his inspirational story about becoming a doctor. Again SAMS was involved by sending out invitations, speaking to site managers and computer technicians in order make the event a success.
For any information on forthcoming events visit our Facebook page (St Marys Aspiring Medics Society) or contact Dom Sullivan, thank you for your ongoing support.
