The Physical Education Department aims to develop pupil competence and confidence to take part in a range of physical activities that become an essential part of their lives, both in and out of school.
Our high quality P.E. curriculum enables all pupils to enjoy and succeed in many kinds of physical activity. They develop a wide range of skills and the ability to use tactics, strategies and compositional ideas to perform successfully. There is a well established system of regular assessments and all pupils are set regular targets in order to achieve their full potential.
The department also offers an extensive extra-curricular programme where students are given the opportunity to enhance and extend their experiences further.
The P.E. Team:
Mr. Iddon - Subject Leader / Associate Assistant Head
Miss Wilson - Assistant Subject Leader
Mr. Challoner - Teacher of PE / Gifted and Talented Co-ordinator
Mr. Leighton - Teacher of PE
Mr. Taylor - Teacher of PE
Miss Pearson - Teacher of PE
Miss Jackson -
