Key Stage 4

Following on from the hugely successful GCSE results in August 2010 the Key Stage 4 team are aiming to offer mentoring and targeting for all students again leading up to the exams in order to beat this year’s record.

Student Leaders

Student Leaders can be recognised by the plain navy blue tie bearing a gold school crest which they wear. Student leaders are a team of Year 11 pupils who assist staff, visitors and other students in a range of ways, including corridor patrol, befriending, activities club, paired reading, open evenings and charity work.

Peer Mediators

Peer mediators are a group of year 10 students who operate during lunch times.  They allow their peers, who may feel they need someone to talk to or feel unsafe in school, another student to talk to rather than going straight to a teacher or key stage office.
