Dear Student, Parent and Members of Staff

Taster day 2011 was a great event! Thank you all for taking part and making it such a wonderful occasion. Everyone had the opportunity to meet new friends and form teachers, sample the delicious food from our dining room and explore St. Mary’s once more.

On Taster Day evening parents were able to meet with their child’s new form teacher and key members of staff including acting Headteacher Mr Dawson, Senior Deputy Mrs Firth, Mr Smith (SENCO) and Mrs Sewell (School Health Officer). Parents said ….

‘Staff were very pleasant and helpful’

‘My son was very happy in his form and with his new teacher. He is really looking forward to starting St. Mary’s’

My daughter found it exciting and new’

‘Thank you for taking the time to reassure us about the school transition’.
