Teacher of Spanish (MPS)

Required from 1st September 2012

The Governors of this Outstanding and over-subscribed Catholic high school wish to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Spanish to teach across the age and ability range.

In the last two years the number of students choosing to study languages beyond Key Stage 3 has increased rapidly and Spanish is now one of the most popular options at Key Stage 4. Learning in the Spanish classroom is innovative and exciting for students and the subject offers an extensive range of extra curriculum activities to support lessons.  The ability to offer French up to at least Key Stage 3 would be an advantage

Applications are equally welcomed from an experienced colleague seeking a new challenge within a highly regarded 11-18 environment or from a newly qualified teacher seeking a first professional challenge. St Mary's Catholic High School is an exciting place to work and learn.  We offer a supportive environment and believe very strongly in the pursuit of excellence for every individual within our community.

Informal visits to the school are welcomed.
